Government Grants for Website Development

Did you know the Singapore government will pay for up to 50% of your website costs? The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and other schemes help SMEs go digital. Here's how to get funding for your website.

Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)

PSG covers pre-approved digital solutions including website development:

  • Support level - Up to 50% of qualifying costs
  • Who qualifies - SMEs registered and operating in Singapore
  • Requirements - Must use a pre-approved vendor/solution
  • Process - Apply through Business Grants Portal before purchasing

Check the list of pre-approved solutions on IMDA's GoBusiness website.

How to Apply

  1. Check eligibility - SME registered in Singapore, at least 30% local shareholding
  2. Find pre-approved vendor - Must choose from the approved list
  3. Get quotation - Vendor provides quote for the solution
  4. Submit application - Through Business Grants Portal
  5. Wait for approval - Usually 4-6 weeks
  6. Proceed with project - Only after approval letter
  7. Claim reimbursement - After project completion

Important: Do Not start the project before getting approval, or you will not qualify.

Other Available Grants

  • Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) - For larger digital transformation projects
  • Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) - For expanding overseas, including e-commerce
  • Startup SG - Various schemes for startups

Government grants can significantly reduce your website investment. The application process takes some effort, but getting 50% back is worth it. Work with a pre-approved vendor who can guide you through the process.
